Different network America Online-9.95 per month. Not really an ISP per se. Not recommended becuase they circumvent both the Macintosh and Windows PPP system. Free Servers ------------ Amexol.com-free internet access, provided you have an american express card. address.com-a fine service for free ISP. Bluelight.com-the k-mart ISP. 12 hour limit per month. bluefrognet.com-a "sort of" free service. $25 per year and you have to complete surveys. dotnow.com-another free isp, some areas not acessable. ($19.95 sign-up costs for 'free' service). Generally speaking, any ISP that is offering unlimited service will be charging about the same. If you want national access, you will pay around $20 per month. For just local service, you should be able to get it for around $10 per month. DSL and cable modem rates are about $50 and $40 respectively per month, but you get uninterrupted access without the need to sacrifice a phone line.
