"EMERGENT and DIVERGENT TRENDS in PHYSICS" SEMINAR SERIES

Upcoming talk! Michael DePalatis, from Prof. Chapman's (experimental) group will give a talk titled Atomic physics using trapped ions on Thursday, Feb. 24.

Welcome to the home page of a newly-formed Seminar, entitled "Emergent and Divergent Trends in Physics (EDT)", aka The Ettore Majorana Colloquium Series. The seminar, tentatively scheduled for half hour talks (25 min main talk and 5 min Q&A), will cover a broad range of Physics (or related fields). Talks will be given by volunteers among our comrades including Grad students and Postdocs, perhaps as well as Faculty, covering topics such as past accomplishments in their work, ongoing research, interdisciplinary research, or their interest in a new area (that's the "Emergent" component).

Venue: Conference Rm. (N110) in Howey Physics Bldg.
Time: Tuesday/Thursday 3 pm
How often: Once every two weeks (or more often if we have many speakers in line; check out the schedule.)

You can find information about previous talks by clicking on the link to our schedule.
